Here is a copy of an email we received. Please give us your thoughts. Is Jessica Simpson shoes causing animals to suffer? Susan Pritchard believes so. Then again we also thought “real girls eat meat.”

Dear Ms. Simpson:

This is just a note to thank you for the beautiful line of shoes bearing your name. The styles are fun, exciting and stylish. I would love to buy every style and color but because so many are made of leather, I can not. As use of animal products causes so much suffering for the animals, for the workers involved and for our planet, please consider making your signature shoes from synthetics.
